100 WC #7

One day
I woke up
I was up at 6:30
And I wasn’t even tired
My breakfast was delicious
For some reason (as usual)
And I got to school at 8:30
School was nice
Pizza for lunch
No science
No math
No writing
No reading
No nothing
Except for recess and lunch (duh)
It was a perfect day
Until I came home
Until my dad told me
I was switching to another state
Until a little voice said
You’re leaving your friends
Your teachers
Your favorite pizza
I was so cross I started screaming
And screaming and screaming
And screaming and screaming
Until my dad yelled over my screams:
“Not until you’re done with school!”

I guess that’s not so bad.

Some are overnight but I never got top bunks because I wasen't quick enough), selling cookies(yum! But my dad wouldn't let me buy any), exploring science(cool!), getting outdoors(ahhhh! It felt GOOD!), and doing community service projects (nothing to say). At Girl Scouts, we get to lead our own adventure and team up with other girls in an all-girl environment to choose the exciting, hands-on activities that interest us most. I was curious to discover my talents and passions in a safe and supportive all-girl setting with my troop. We all will join with other Girl Scouts and people in our community—and together, we’ll take action to change the wo…
