At Girl Scouts, girls will prepare for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure in a safe, no-limits place designed for and by, well, girls!
How? Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience—a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges(yay! I personally have about 8), going on awesome trips (wow! Some are overnight but I never got top bunks because I wasen't quick enough), selling cookies(yum! But my dad wouldn't let me buy any), exploring science(cool!), getting outdoors(ahhhh! It felt GOOD!), and doing community service projects (nothing to say).

At Girl Scouts, we get to lead our own adventure and team up with other girls in an all-girl environment to choose the exciting, hands-on activities that interest us most.
I was curious to discover my talents and passions in a safe and supportive all-girl setting with my troop. We all will join with other Girl Scouts and people in our community—and together, we’ll take action to change the world.
Along the way, we gain important skills in four areas that form the foundation of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience:
- Science, technology, engineering, and math STEM(like the stem of a leaf!:D)
- Outdoors
- Life Skills
- Entrepreneurship
While we maybe familiar to these subjects at school, in other youth programs, or even on our own, at Girl Scouts we get to experience them in a unique way that puts us on a path to a lifetime of leadership, adventure, and success. And because the program is girl-led, girls decide what they’ll do, together.
