Ivy has moved to Irvine, California when she was 7 years old. she spent her 2nd grade year there. When she was 8, she sadly left her 5 best friends and moved to St.Louis, Missouri. She lived there all the way to now. She has written Desert Life, If I Was in Charge of the World, Montana, Taste of the World, and Underground Railroad.

What It Is

At Girl Scouts, girls will prepare for a lifetime of leadership, success, and adventure in a safe, no-limits place designed for and by, well, girls!

How? Through the Girl Scout Leadership Experience—a collection of engaging, challenging, and fun activities like earning badges(yay! I personally have about 8), going on awesome trips (wow! Some are overnight but I never got top bunks because I wasen't quick enough), selling cookies(yum! But my dad wouldn't let me buy any), exploring science(cool!), getting outdoors(ahhhh! It felt GOOD!), and doing community service projects (nothing to say). At Girl Scouts, we get to lead our own adventure and team up with other girls in an all-girl environment to choose the exciting, hands-on activities that interest us most. I was curious to discover my talents and passions in a safe and supportive all-girl setting with my troop.
